Police: Suicide Follows High Speed Chase, Double Murder
8/11/2014 (Updated 6:52:16 PM)Police say a New York State parole officer took his own life after a high-speed chase. That chase, police say, followed him killing his estranged wife and her boyfriend.
Early Monday morning state police in Catskill responded to a report of shots fired at 844 Pennsylvania Avenue in Palenville.
Responding officers found 51-year-old Daniel Brennan dead in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds.
Inside the home police found 49-year-old Pammy Mroczek also dead from gunshot wounds.
Police say Robert Mroczek Pammy Mroczec's estranged husband found the two at the residence shot them and fled the scene.
Mroczeck led police into the town of Cortlandville where stop sticks were deployed stopping his vehicle.
Police say Mroczek was then pronounced dead on scene after he shot himself in the head.
