One of Governor Cuomo's top aides is going to meet with federal prosecutors about the probe into Cuomo's disbanding of the Moreland Commission, the group Cuomo established to fight corruption in Albany.
Larry Schwartz, Secretary to the Governor and Cuomo's Conduit to the commission, will meet with federal prosecutors, according to the journal. A New York Times article in July reported the governor’s office objected whenever the commission focused on groups with ties to
Cuomo. Cuomo has called the commission a success and last week said he would have no further comment on the issue.

Mayor David announced today that the City of Binghamton has officially received and reviewed Coughlin & Gerhart's independent third party review of the Binghamton Police Department.
The City hired the law firm in March to review the department's policies and procedures and determine if discrimination, harassment or retaliation is occurring.
