Spiedie Fest Kicks off Friday

Binghamton's most anticipated yearly celebration is so close, that you can almost taste it.

The 30th Annual Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally takes place this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Otsiningo Park. Notable events for Spiedie fest include meet and greets with celebrities Peyton list and Cody Christian, and performances by Foghat, as well as Cole Swindell and Kristian Bush of Sugarland.

Spiedie fest organizer Dave Pessagno said, "And we put this thing together 30 years ago and to watch it grow, to watch the community grab hold of it, to watch it go from 4,000 people to 100,000 people, I think its been great for the ethnic community."
