Could Millions Make BC Transit a Green Ride?

Thousands of Broome County residents who rely on public transportation may enjoy a greener ride.

Senator Charles Schumer announces Broome County may receive more than $4 million in federal funds.

If granted, this funding will help purchase end new environmentally-friendly buses and install nine bicycle shelters. Schumer says the funds will to provide residents better public transportation system and expect to help local economy.
