Debra Hogan is announcing her candidacy for the County Legislature. Hogan is running in district number 14 which includes the east side, the north side, center city and a portion of the first ward of Broome County.
Hogan says that if elected there are few key things she would like to work toward. Candidate Hogan said, "When I'm elected to the Legislature, County Legislature, I look to bring constituent services, first and foremost. I've gone door-to-door throughout my district. People have concerns. You need to listen to them and also be able to make referrals so they have the services they're entitled to through their city and county taxes. "
In addition to emphasizing constituent services Hogan would also like to improve public safety and quote: "beautify" the district's neighborhoods. Candidate Hogan says she looks forward to speaking with the community during her campaign in the coming months.
