Conklin Fair Begins

What better way to spend the weekend than at a fair? The Conklin Fair kicked off  Friday night for the 43rd annual year.

With fairs come the usual games, food and rides. But its the first year SUNY Broome interns got the chance to plan the
event. One intern student says he's happy to be part of the fun.

"The internship is great I had a great time. With hands on experience you really get down and dirty. You really have to know what you're doing and really learn while you're going at it," said SUNY student Jevin Fleugel.

The fair continues Saturday at noon and wraps up Saturday night at ten. You can even catch a fireworks show.
