Dozens of golfers headed to the Links at Hiawatha Landing to enjoy the nice day while also raising money for a good cause.
The 7th annual Johnny Hart Memorial golf tournament honored a former chairman of Mom's House and raised money for the organization. Participants were also able to enter contests and raffles. Organizers say events like this help them keep their doors open.
Diane Avery, office manager of Mom's House says: "It's a feeling to have this kind of support from the community. They come out every year and we gain new golfers each year and it's just a very successful tournament."
One lucky golfer even hit a hole-in-one on the 17th hole--winning a brand new car.
Mom's House is an organization that helps put single mothers through school.
