Tioga County Fair Gets Underway

The Tioga County Fair is back and that means so is the food, music, rides and more.

The Fair started Tuesday afternoon at Marvin Park in Owego and runs until this Saturday. Fair Commissioner Dave Woodburn tells us organizers have been working on revitalizing the Fair and getting it back to the way things were before the Flood of 2011.
This is the first year that the Tioga County Fair will have harness racing since the flood.

"Well this Fair is revitalized from previous years we're getting back to agricultural roots." said Fair Commissioner Dave Woodburn.

"I think that it's important that I know so much about them and my parents ask me how I know so much about them and I just say from 4th because i've learned so much. they do so much fun stuff like jump on the trampoline with me and on the car." said Animal Presenter McKenna Murphy.

On Saturday there will be a lumberjack tournament and tractor pull.
