"Frozen" In Time

A local car dealership is thanking their customers by filling an empty field with an inflatable movie screen, refreshments, and family friendly movies.

Matthews Auto Group screened Disney's Frozen in a drive-in movie style. Representatives from Matthews say they wanted to do something special for the customers by bringing back the old tradition to the area for the summer.

"This is a special night for our customers as a thank you for their business. We wanted to do something special for them so we came up with the idea for a drive-in movie. Everybody seems to be having a really good time. The weather is beautiful. I think it's been such a long time since we've had a drive-in in this town. People are really having fun with their kids ," said Kathy Breno, marketing director.

Matthews is planning more drive-ins throughout the summer for their customers. The events are planned for July 26th and August 30th.
