Endicott Man Arrested for Strong-Armed Robbery

An Endicott man is under arrest after police say he committed a strong-armed robbery Tuesday morning in Johnson City before leading police on a foot chase.

The incident allegedly happened in the parking lot of Walgreens on Main Street.

Police say 30-year-old Todd Corey grabbed a shopping bag from another man and stole the contents which included narcotic prescription medication.

Police say Corey then fled the area on foot. Police officers from the Johnson City Police, Binghamton Police, New York State Police and the Broome County Sheriff’s Office set up a perimeter and Todd was eventually located near Route 17 Eastbound in Johnson City and taken into custody.

Corey was sent to Broome County Jail without bail.
