Vestal Man Announces His Run For Legislator In District 4

A Vestal man who has extensive experience training military police forces throughout the world has his sights set on a more tame body the Broome County Legislature.
William Kelley who owns Kelley Marine on Route 26 announced Friday he is running for the seat from District 4, a position currently held by Democrat Daniel D. Reynolds.
Kelley has worked for the State Department training Afghan Police for much of the last decade before returning last August. Kelley is running as a Republican and also looking to run on the Conservative and Independence party lines.
Cal Harris Update: Judge Instructs Deadlocked Jury To Continue Deliberating
(Schoharie County) As jurors continue to deliberate, Cal Harris sits outside the courthouse eating lunch with his family.
In the 13th hour, four days since they were handed the case, the jury in the Cal Harris murder trial announced it was deadlocked.
But Judge George Bartlett quickly instructed the jury to continue deliberating.
Bartlett told the jury to keep an open mind and to use their common sense.
