While enjoying a day at the golf course for the 10th Annual Don Hengel Memorial Sports Classic, former Syracuse Orange point guard and current Syracuse Assistant Coach Gerry McNamara took a break from crushing drives and nailing putts to talk to Fox 40 about this year's team. With the departure of key figures like C.J. Fair, to graduation, and Tyler Ennis and Jerami Grant to the NBA Draft, McNamara says this year's team has a lot of holes to fill. But, it's not for nothing that Jim Boeheim's team keep winning, the Syracuse recruiting team is among the best in the country. McNamara says that the new freshmen will get plenty of playing time and key opportunities.
