St. Anthony's Italian Festival Gets Underway

The rain didn't stop people from heading over to
St. Anthony's of Padua in Endicott for the italian festival.
Alot of people were enjoying the festivities.  Plenty of music for the adults and entertainment for the kids.  The festival has become a tradition in the Southern Tier and one of the first of many festivals to take place this summer.  Organizers say they they're saving the best for last day.

"Today is the actual feast of St. Anthony of Padua.  This Sunday we will be celebrating it as a parish family, our official feast day.  We're going to have a wonderful procession thats the highlight of the annual feast day procession with the statue of St. Anthony throughout the streets of the north side after our 11 o' clock mass., said Father Jim Serowik, Pastor, St. Anthony's Church

And of course who could forget the great food that Italians are known for.  The festival wraps up on Sunday.
