READING, PA -- GBFC Thunder traveled to Reading PA to play the Reading United AC today in a Lamar Hunt US Open Cup match. The Cup is the oldest cup competition in the country and is a single elimination tournament open to all affiliated amateur and professional teams in the United States.
The final score for the match was Reading United 5, GBFC Thunder 2. The score was tied at 2-2 until the 61st minute of match when Reading took charge and score three unanswered goals to put knock the Thunder out of The Cup tournament.
