B-Sens think they could have won series and want Penguins in playoffs again next season

The B-Sens could have been playing a pivotal Game 5 at The Arena tomorrow but fell to Wilkes/Barre on the road Friday 5-1, to end the season.

Every game with the exception of Game 4 went into an Extra Session and the series could have went either way depending on which way the puck bounced.

Now the game film will help this team learn from their mistakes but getting another chance at the penguins in the playoffs next year is what the B-Sens really want.

"I think we could have won the series if we were able to score just a couple of more goals here and there, said Head Coach Luke Richardson. "They are a strong team and it is probably the worst matchup we could have had the last two years and we enjoy playing them, we enjoy the challenge and the battle. Now this makes it more of a want to face play them again so we could try and beat them."

"I mean you could do whatever you want in the regular season, said Captain Mark Borowiecki." "You can blow everyone out of the water and win the league by 50 points but if you get knocked out of the first round, what does it even matter."

The Senators had 106 shots on goal and only capitalized on 9 of them in the series. Next year, they will be hungry to get past the first round.
