B-Sens lose series to Penguins 3-1 and have to wait for next season

The B-Sens had a tough out during the Calder Cup playoffs losing 5-1 Friday and ending a 3-1 series loss to Wilkes/Barre.

The Senators lose another playoff series from the Penguins and have only won 1 of their last 10 playoff games against the division rival.

Last Year, the B-Sens were in the same position last year but this team was different with all the talent and depth on the roster.

Now, this team needs to regroup and the only thing they can do is use this loss as fuel for a terrific season next year.

"You have to take some time and really think about this game and what went wrong and try and correct those little errors mentally and physically for yourself individually and as a team said head coach Luke Richardson."

"We definitely lost our composure, anyone in the building could see that said captain Mark Borowiecki. Whether that is a product of being young and slightly inexperienced I don't know but excuses don't cut. We just needed to be better."

The B-Sens finished with a 44-23-3 record and recorded their first division championship since 2005-2005 season. They have made the playoffs in back to back seasons under head coach Luke Richardson.
