Urban commits to Binghamton University

ENDWELL -- The Binghamton University Bearcats Men's Lacrosse team takes on UMBC in the America East Semi-Finals in their return to the postseason for the first time in three years.  They hope to continue that resurgence, Kyle Urban hopes to be a part of it.  Urban, a senior at Maine-Endwell signed his letter of intent to stay right here in Broome County to suit up for the Bearcats next season.

While, staying local is a major convenience, he says that it was not a major factor to his decision.  Rather, he knows that BU is an up and coming program and wants to help usher in a new era of Bearcats Lacrosse.

Following in the footsteps of other local players who have made a name at BU like Jimmy Gray for men's basketball, Mikala King and Jessica Bump for softball, and Tucker Nelson, Tanner Cosens, Kyle Bakker, and Kenny King for the men's lacrosse team, Urban doesn't expect much pressure to be the "hometown hero."
