B-Sens Da Costa providing the spark in the playoffs
4/27/2014 (Updated 10:48:13 PM)
The B-Sens series with the Penguins is tied at 1-1 heading into Wednesday's matchup in Wilkes-Barre at the Mohegan Sun Arena but that was all Thanks to Stephane Da Costa's slap shot from the right wing in overtime Saturday night.
The Center actually had been out for a few weeks because of an injury and didn't play from March 29th to April 19th. Having him perform at this high of a level during this series is huge.
"He has only played his third game since coming back off of a tough injury, said Head Coach Luke Richardson. Confidence wise I think it is huge for him especially the way we converted on the power play. "
Game 3 is this Wednesday at 7 PM. During the season, Da Costa had 18 goals 40 assists and 58 points. We will have highlights and action from all the games this week.
