A Dollar Makes a Dream Come True for Endicott Man

Most people who spend a dollar on a dream keep dreaming when it comes to the lottery, but for one Endicott man his dream came true Thursday.

Richard Gusefski won the million dollar Valentine's Day drawing for the Mega Millions by getting five of the six numbers correct.

He bought his ticket at Weis Markets on Day Hollow Road in Endicott.

Gusefski and his wife say they were more than shocked when they won the money, and they plan on paying some bills and doing some saving.

"I have six kids they have to get to college, well hopefully. Three of them are girls so there will be weddings hopefully," said Richard Gusefski.

Gusefski will be taking a one lump sum totaling $661,800 dollars.

He's a software engineer for IBM and has no plans of quitting his job.
