Twice Arrested for DWI, Same Day, in Four Hours
3/10/2014 (Updated 11:27:38 PM)It's not unusual for us to report a drunk driving arrest--
But now we have a report of a man arrested twice on the same day for DWI, with the arrests just four hours apart:
31 year old Zachary Boynton of Oneonta was first arrested early Sunday morning at the McDonald's on Route 23 in Oneonta.
Police say he drove his car into the back of another vehicle that was ahead of him at the drive through.
He was charged, and turned over to a sober driver.
Four hours later police responded to the same McDonald's which reported a car had struck the building and then left the scene..
Boynton's newly damaged car was found outside his home--where he was arrested again for DWI--arraigned, and again released to a sober third party--with no bail required.
