An Endwell man is under arrest after police say he choked the mother of their child in its presence.
State Police have charged 20-year-old Jeffrey Hamm with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
Police say they responded to a dispute on Milan Avenue in the Town of Union.
Their investigation found Hamm choked the victim and took her cell phone in the presence of their child.
Hamm was sent to Broome County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.
