Endwell Vehicle Break Ins

A man is in custody following  vehicle break-ins in Endwell on Friday night.

A deputy patrolling the area noticed a parked vehicle with the door ajar and the overhead light on. He investigated further and found 22 year old Wesley Goodman acting suspiciously. Goodman gave the deputy a false name, and fled on foot.

When the deputy caught him, Goodman admitted to stealing property from parked vehicles.

Goodman is charged with false personation, petit larceny, and obstructing governmental administration.. He is being held in the Broome County Correctional Facility awaiting further court action.

If anyone in the Endwell area found their car was rummaged through, they're asked to file a report at the Broome County Sheriff's Office.
