Traditions at the Glen Celebrates 10 Years

10 years of hard work and dedication were celebrated today at Traditions at the Glen as it held it's 10th anniversary celebration.

The resort has had a lot to celebrate over the years but is in the midst of possibly another big celebration. If their bid for a casino in Broome County goes through, owners say not only will there be a lot to celebrate, but it will bring a lot to the community as well.

"It's gonna bring a lot of jobs here. It's gonna bring traffic. Everyone asks me how I'm gonna handle traffic, I say I'm gonna welcome it first of all. We need traffic. That means there's life coming back into our community. It's not only gonna help with Traditions and the town of union, it's gonna help the entire community," said Bill Walsh, Owner of Traditions at the Glen.

The land was originally purchased by IBM, then sold to Traditions 10 years ago. Members while they feel they are already the premier resort in the area, the casino will grow that even more.
