Clock Ticking Down To Coverage
2/27/2014 (Updated 10:52:22 PM)Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo is reminding Southern Tier residents that the clock is ticking on the countdown to coverage.
March 31st is the last day to enroll in health coverage through the New York State of Health Marketplace.
"These are people that are not Medicaid eligible, by the way. This new basic health program will be available through the Department of health, and could cost families as low as twenty dollars a month," said Lupardo.
You can get free assistance to enroll in the Health Marketplace program through navigator agencies.
To find out more, in Broome County call the Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network at (607) 772-0517, or the Community Service Society of New York at (607)772-8860.
