Vow Renewals for Happy Couples

Couples celebrated their long lasting marriage this Friday.

Friday at Emeritus at Woodland Place residents and their loved ones got the chance to renew their wedding vows.

Four married couples with a combined total of 185 years of marriage shared with us why they thought it was so important.

"Well I think it's always reassuring to reflect on happy years of marriage and to review the oaths that you took so long ago," said Robert Coutant.

"It's a great opportunity with all of this inspiration with all these years of marriage it's just so inspiring it makes us want to be together that long and what better place and what better time than to do it on Valentine's Day with so many people we've learned so much from," said Christine Bruce.

Emeritus at Woodland Place is a memory care community for seniors with dementia.
