American Pickers in Binghamton, Episode Airs Wednesday Night
1/13/2014 (Updated 1/14/2014 12:21:46 PM)"Weird and wild", that's the description of the stuff that the crew from the History Channel's American Pickers were looking for when they were in Binghamton back in August.
Owners of Showtime Costumes Ron and Nikki Striss were selected out of 27 interviews in the triple cites.
Along with owning the costume store Ron Striss is also a vintage toy collector with an entire barn full of items.
Some of the stuff the pickers were interested in included an old derby car, a Victorian clothing rack, toys, old mesh masks, swords, spears, and helmets.
Both Nikki and Ron are excited about the potential exposure for both Ron's collection of toys and the store.
"Oh my goodness, everywhere we go people say I heard the pickers were there, I heard the pickers were at your place. We went to Bainbridge and she said the pickers were there and I said what? How do you know? She said everybody has been talking about it," said Nikki Striss the Co-Owner of Showtime Costumes.
The episode is set to air this Wednesday at 9:00pm on the History Channel.
