Christ the King, M-E, Norwich take home Stop DWI Titles

Christ the King rallied from down 15 in the second quarter to win its record 4th Holiday Classic National Title.  The Royals used a 14-4 run to end the first half and pull within five points.  They took a one point lead with 1:30 left in the 3rd, only to see Long Island Lutheran regain a five point lead at the end of the quarter.  It wasn't until the last minute of the game that CTK took the lead, and the game.  Travis Atson scored 17, Rawle Alkins 16.

Maine-Endwell rode a 20 point night from Jake Sinicki and 14 from Kyle Gallagher to take down Fayetteville-Manlius 57-49 for the school's record 5th Holiday Classic Regional Title.  Sinicki and Alec Wisniewski were named to the Region I All Star Team, Gallagher was named MVP.  BU commit and F-M senior, John Schurman, was also named to the All Star team.  He led the Hornets with 18 points and 6 rebounds.

In Region II, Norwich completed the comeback to take down New York Mills 48-45.  The Tornado trailed by four at the half and Mills went on an 11-4 run in the third, taking a ten point lead into the 4th quarter.  Fueled by Reg. II MVP Michael Sutton and a 13-0 4th quarter run, Norwich was able to complete the comeback for its 4th Regional Title win.

Long Island Lutheran 53 - Christ the King 56

3rd place game:
John Carroll 57 - Philadephia MCS 49

5th place game:
St. Michael's 68 - Covington Holmes 63

7th place game:
Poly Prep 47 - New Rochelle 61

Region I Title game:
Maine-Endwell 57 - Fayetteville-Manlius 49

Region II Title Game:
New York Mills 45 - Norwich 48

3rd place game:
Seton 47 - Greene 50
