Decking The Halls While Avoiding Disasters
12/5/2013 (Updated 11:10:49 PM)Nothing says the holidays are here like a festive display of lights - but displaying those bulbs safely is key.
NYSEG is offering the following tips to customers: using only lights and extension cords approved by a recognized testing organization, such as underwriters laboratories - or UI. Also, inspect lights, plugs, and receptacles for worn insulation and loose connections.
