A big donation goes to a Binghamton tradition that feeds thousands. Sam's club donated a $2,500 dollar check to the Bandera family for it's annual Christmas dinner Thursday.
The dinner is free to the public and will be held at the American Legion Post 80 in Binghamton and at the Boys and Girls club in Endicott on Christmas day from noon until 3:00pm.
This is the 24th year of the Bandera Christmas dinner and organizers expect to serve between three and four thousand meals.
"Well what my parents started is just a way to thank the community which is the same idea for me. As long as we have the ability we're going to give back to the community and help people who always have a need," said Bill Bandera the Organizer of the Bandera Dinner.
In addition, people may call in for delivery this year by calling 211 "A Call for Help" and give them your information.
