BINGHAMTON -- A couple of your B-Sens have been absent from game action for much of the season due to injury: Mark Stone and Andre Petersson.
For Stone, he is close to fully recovered from an upper body injury sustained in the team's season opener on October 5. The forward is participating in full drills in practice and though he is not expected to be in the lineup this weekend, the team is hopeful he could re-join them for the November 8 weekend.
That said, Head Coach Luke Richardson is still being cautious with Stone. As for Petersson, the news is not as positive.
"We're going to make sure we're careful with that because we don't want him to take a step backwards and re-injure it. We're hoping within two weekends he'll be back in the lineup for at least one game and ease him back in. Petersson -- he's been a little longer than we thought. We really don't have a timetable on him," Richardson said after practice Wednesday.
Petersson has begun working out again but is not participating in any drills on the ice.
