10/25/2013 (Updated 10:55:22 PM)Vestal Elementary School students got a visit Friday from their older classmates and learned a lesson in making good decisions.
Vestal High School YES! Leads student team and members of Students Against Destructive Decisions gave the younger students red ribbons in honor of Red Ribbon Day.
They also spoke with the children about staying a way from drugs and alcohol.
"You should stay away from drugs and alcohol cause it just messes up your life later on. If you can impact their life early on then they wont have a chance to do it later," Daniel Brunett, Junior at Vestal High School, said.
On Saturday, Vestal High School Clubs will host Make a Difference Day from 3-5:30 at the High School. Elementary school students are invited to paint pumpkins which will be donated to local nursing homes.
