BINGHAMTON -- Having him here to start the season was a surprise for most hockey fans, and so his recall to Ottawa did not come as a shock to many. That said, Mika Zibanejad had been the most productive B-Sen thus far this season.
The forward was leading the team in points with seven, doing a great job of finding his teammates on the ice. Five of Zibanejad's points came via assists.
On Wednesday at the team's Pucks 4 Paws shoot, captain Mark Borowiecki discussed what his squad needs to do to account for Zibanejad's production.
"We just need everyone to chip in. It's not gonna be any one guy who is going to provide that scoring. It's going to come from every line, and we just need everyone to step up," Borowiecki said.
The B-Sens first test is Friday night at home, when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
