BINGHAMTON, N.Y. The Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League announced today they have recalled forward Mika Zibanejad from American Hockey League Affiliate the Binghamton Senators.
Zibanejad started this year with Binghamton after playing 42 games with Ottawa during the 2012-2013 regular season. Through six games this year, Zibanejad leads the B-Sens in points with two goals and five assists. The Huddinge, Sweden, native registered seven goals and 13 assists with Ottawa last season ranking fourth on the team in total points.
Ottawa visits the Detroit Red Wings tomorrow night for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop. Binghamton returns to action this Friday and Saturday in consecutive home games.
