Binghamton Police Make Robbery Arrests
10/18/2013 (Updated 6:48:21 PM)Binghamton Police make arrests in two separate robberies.
The first robbery happened last month, on September 25th in the area of 1 Court Street Bridge, along the River Walk.
Police say 16-year-old Joshua Smith of Binghamton is one of two black males who robbed a victim and made off with money after displaying what appeared to be a handgun.
He's charged with robbery. The other suspect is still being sought.
And there are three arrests related to a robbery of a Binghamton University student that happened last Friday near 84 Front Street.
Charged with robbery in that case are: 16-year-old John Conorquie, 17-year-old Kout Akol, and 17-year-old Javon Jones.
All are from Binghamton. The victim was robbed of his cell phone, wallet, cash, and credit cards.
