Bearcats WBB better than #8 ranking

VESTAL -- The America East released its preseason rankings on Wednesday. The Lady Bearcats clocked in at number 8, missing the basement by just one spot. Conference newcomer UMass Lowell is the only team ranked lower than BU.

The Bearcats have some unanswered questions as the 2013-14 season approaches, but the team is confident in its ability to finish much higher than eighth place.

For a team that won just six games last season, there is a lot to prove for the ladies, who also have a young, inexperienced team.

Head Coach Nicole Scholl and Senior Guard Stephanie Jensen plan to use the negative press as incentive.
