Binghamton University was busy this weekend with its homecoming and alumni events.
Saturday, President Harvey Stenger took the opportunity to talk about the state of the university with alumni. He addressed BU's plan for growth as well as the new faculty, buildings, and programs. He said, the biggest thing BU is working on right now is a facility downtown that will eventually be able to hold and support ten local businesses.
"I think that if we were to just focus of being a great university we'd miss the opportunity to take that greatness and help the tens of thousands of people that live in the area," said BU President, Harvey Stenger.
Stenger hopes that BU will be done with its big projects within the year and can start making more plans for the future.
