Government Shut Down Could Result in a $2 Billion Dollar Loss for NY

Governor Cuomo is saying the federal government shutdown could mean a $2 billion loss to the State of New York.
That's according to data from past recessions. Economists are saying a default could trigger a national, if not global recession, and the impact would setback much of the progress New York State has made the last three years.
This includes a negative impact on state revenues and job losses throughout all sectors.
