The Binghamton Senators found themselves in a tough 3-1 hole in the 3rd period. But for a team with a chip on their shoulder after an early playoff exit last season, the B-Sens were not going away easily.
It was two early third period goals by Corey Cowick and Mika Zibanejad that brought some buzz back to the Arena. The B-Sens erased the two goal deficit to force overtime, where it was the young Cody Ceci who only played three regular season and three playoff games last season, who sent the Sens fans home happy with an overtime winner.
It's very easy for a team to head into the locker room down by two and call it quits, but as Ceci and head coach Luke Richardson said, it takes a certain level of talent to not give up and complete the comeback.
