9/28/2013 (Updated 11:33:23 PM)A memorial golf tournament was held on Saturday to help raise money for a good cause.
The Links at Hiawatha Landing hosted the Annual Jerry Hills High Four Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday morning.
Nearly a hundred people came out to remember Jerry Hills, who passed away from skin cancer in 2011. All proceeds are donated to hills favorite charity, Mom's House.
"It's an honor for us because we knew Jerry years ago. Wonderful, charitable man. A great man," said Diane Avery of Mom's House.
Mom's House has been around for 25 years. It offers free day care to single parents who are full time students and has helped more than 200 people graduate from college. Hill's family hopes to raise around $7,000 for the charity.
