Not everyone at Binghamton University was able to score a seat at Friday afternoon's town hall meeting but students from Binghamton University and others from throughout the region came to campus to hear the President speak.
They filled a theater on campus and watched a live stream of the event. Some in the crowd were disappointed to not be able to be at the town hall itself but were still excited to watch the event.
"It was a huge shock. A little disappointed I couldn't go see him but you can't miss what you don't have and I thought he had really good things to say about education," said BU Junior Brenden Gregory.
The President spent over an hour talking to staff and students at BU as part of his town hall meeting.
