Maine Fire Destroys Home 8/22/2013 (Updated 7:22:42 PM)
A home in Maine, New York was destroyed by a fire early Thursday morning.
According to the Maine Fire Chief the fire department received a call around 7:30am to 99 Lewis Street.
Eight fire departments were called in to help fight the blaze including Union Center, West Corners, Endicott and Newark Valley.
No one was home at the time of the fire. Concerned neighbors gathered to watch the fire be put out and say they are sad that this happened.
The fire is under investigation and a cause has not yet been determined.
