Campus Police at BU Working Hard

With the President's arrival and planned protests specifically from anti-frackers, BU campus police have set security as their highest priority.

Protestors have been given suggested rally points which will be finalized Friday.

However because the event is open to the public protestors don't have to stick to those suggested rally points.

There will be areas off limits to everyone though, for security purposes.

"And the groups that we've met with have been very receptive and cooperative with us to make this event go off with out a hitch. So to that end we have designated a number of areas primarily on the east side of campus," said Timothy Faughnan ,the Chief of Police at Binghamton University.

Timothy Faughnan  recommends that if you are not affiliated with the university to try and park off campus and walk in due to the number of people and road closures.

As far as viewing the motorcade there will be a marked route staffed with plenty of law enforcement.

The State Department of Transportation says to expect delays if you are traveling near the presidential event Friday.
