Cleaning Up After the Open

While Bart Bryant may still be celebrating his 2013 Dick's Sporting Goods Open win, there is a lot of clean-up work to do at En-Joie Golf Course.
Removal of the tents, grandstands and video boards began Monday to get the course back to normal.

Tournament Director John Karedes says this year's tournament was once again a success with the biggest crowd to date, although he didn't provide a specific number. He does say the Open is in serious contention for a second straight President's Award.

"Hearing from our friends at the tour and specifically the players, this is one of the best if not the best," Karedes said.  "That's something that not only myself and my staff are proud of, but the community should be proud of.  It takes an army of volunteers, sponsors, and fans to make this all come together in one of the smallest markets that the PGA Tour family plays in."

The President's Award is given to the best overall Champions Tour event.  Karedes says clean up will last for about the next ten days.  En-Joie Golf Course opens back up to the public Tuesday.
