Hearing on Hold for Endicott Interconnect Technologies
8/8/2013 (Updated 7:57:33 PM)
The hearing on the proposed sale of Endicott Interconnect Technologies is on hold.
The postponement follows objections made earlier in the week by the U.S. Trustees Office, which is overseeing Endicott Interconnect's bankruptcy procedure.
The postponement was requested by attorneys for the company, who must now deal with the objections filed by the feds.
The government trustee, hope Davis, wants U.S. bankruptcy court to deny Endicott Interconnect's request that it be permitted to sell 36-million dollar in assets to Integrian Holdings for just $250-thousand dollars.
The owner of Integrian is James T. Matthews, who is a minority shareholder.
His family owns a controlling interest in Endicott Interconnect. The hearing was scheduled for August 13th. It's rescheduled for August 20th.
