BINGHAMTON -- It's the season for ice cream. So where is the best place in Binghamton to get your fix?
The Center for Technology and Innovation tried to figure out just that. The company gathered multiple vendors for a dessert contest Saturday. Visitors got to sample many delicious flavors, and even see how different technologies are used to create the special treat.
"New York has always been one of the top three Ice Cream producers in the country so we thought we'd celebrate and show the technology of dairy and ice cream and what's happened currently," said Susan Sherwood, Executive Director for C.T.I.
"I think the best part is just to have fun. To have a good time and give people ice cream," said Megan Wheaton, a Wolfies employee.
And there was a savory part to the day too. A Cornell professor demonstrated how to make cheese.
