Flags at Half-Staff in Remembrance of a Fallen Soldier

Flags in state government buildings are being flown at half-staff in honor of a soldier from Barton who died in Afghanistan.
The governor ordered the lowering of the flags following the death of Army Sgt. Justin Rogers. He died in a non-combat related incident, in Bagram late last month. Governor Cuomo has ordered that flags be lowered whenever soldiers from New York or who are stationed in New York are killed in action or die in a combat zone.
