In the American Legion Hall of Fame Tournament, Endicott Post 82 lost 12-1 in a 5-inning mercy to New London Post 1. Despite the loss, Post 82 had already clinched a semi-final berth on Friday. They will play at 10am Sunday.
In a consolation game, Vestal Post 89 scored seven unanswered runs over Binghamton Post 80 to cruise to the 9-3 win.
Sunday's semi-final games will be at 10am and 1pm. The finals will be at 4pm. All games are at Binghamton's Conlon Field.
Nelson Mandela Dies at 95
Former South African President Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95.
The announcement was made by South African president Jacob Zuma this afternoon.
Mandela became the country's first black president after spending 27 years in prison for opposing apartheid.
