BINGHAMTON -- A Binghamton church is working to inspire healthier lifestyles.
The Greater Faith and Deliverance Ministries provided residents with a range of information Saturday as a part of a Health and Wellness Fair. On hand were representatives from UHS and the Broome Community Health Department. Visitors got to learn about medicare options, life insurance, zumba and karate programs, and healthy eating tips.
"We have a number of health concerns going on in our area and we just want to educate people. So we use some things like free food to hopefully bring them out and give them good information they can apply to their daily lives," said Pastor C. Omarr Evans.
Also at the fair were mental health and counseling services for pregnant or parenting teens.
