The celebration continues for a Binghamton man who snagged his fourth Tony Award...
Albert Nocciolino won his latest Tony Award Sunday night for being one of the producers of "Kinky Boots," which won for Best Musical. Nocciolino is also president of the Broadway Theatre League. A seven-time Tony nominee and four-time winner, Nocciolino knew he had a hit on his hands with "Kinky Boots" from the start of production.
"I was particularly excited about the score that Cindi Lauper put together when I first heard it over a year ago. I know Harvey Firestein's work on the book and Jerry Mitchell's directing and choreography all came together and it just got better by the month," said Nocciolino.
Nocciolino won Tonys in 2010 for "La Cage aux Folles," 2005 for "Spamalot," and 2002 for "Thoroughly Modern Millie."
