Staten Island Man Arrested In Vestal Paving Scam
6/7/2013 (Updated 6:48:38 PM)Police have arrested a Staten Island man for a driveway paving scam in Vestal.
Vestal police say Jeremy John, 42, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for grand larceny after an investigation of a driveway paving scam that happened in May.
John is accused of making an illegal contract with an elderly woman. Police say he was paid about $1,500 to do the work but that work was found to be deficient.
He was taken into custody in Brooklyn and transported to Vestal. He is in the Broome County Jail.
